Photoshop, GIMP or SAI? Help me review!
Okies, I have to write an article on my opinion on Photoshop, GIMP and Easy Paint Tool SAI. I wanna include an "Other people's opinions" sidebar posting what people decided was the best. In order to help me with that, I made this quizzy thingy asking your opinion. You shouldn't take the quiz if you have only used one of these programs (please don't). I wanna see your opinions, and help me write mine!
Here you go!
Thank you very much!

My opinion
Hi Michiko-san!
I've used Photoshop, SAI, and Open Canvas, but unfortunately, i haven't tried GIMP.
According to these 3 software, i recommend you to use SAI.
SAI's user interface is easy to use, plus it has so many awesome tools. And it's good for making linearts too ='D
Hope this will help you.

Tough
Thats really hard actually. Sai is a really nice program. I tend to use it more often because it is light in comparison to photoshop. The lines are very precise and mot at shakey. My hand inst to steady so even the slightest shake shows up even with the smoothing on. So if I'm drawing inking and coloring then I chose Sai.
But Sai is bad with high res images. Anything higher then 2400x2400 300dpi tends to freeze the program up. If you want MASSIVE print quality you have to go with photoshop. Also its a MUST have for web graphics and photo editing and color corrections. Sai's color editing tools are rather weak.
I can't say as I've used Gimp too much. from what I have used it has many of the same functions as photoshop. So it seems to be a competent alternative for photoshop. Lets face it, photoshop is pricey. I doubt many artists have a legal copy of it. I'm a supporter of paying for my software. Since I use the other adobe products regularly I bought it with photoshop. If I didn't need the other programs I would quite possibly be using gimp.
The all have advantages and disadvantages.
Hopefully that helps. XD But prolly not.
